Using Sleeper ADP, these are the players I like the most in every draft round (PPR, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 RB/WR/TE, 7 BN):
1 Cooper Kupp
The 2021 fantasy football MVP is our first name here: great chemistry with Matthew Stafford granted him over 30% of the Rams’ targets last year. What would stop him from repeating WR1 finish?
2 Mark Andrews
He’s among three players (Kupp, Adams) I envision reaching a 30% target share this year, which would make him the first tight end to do so since 1992.
3 Mike Evans
We can’t predict touchdowns, but we can chase them. The Brady-led Bucs offense should be good again, and Evans will lead the receivers in the redzone one more time.
4 Breece Hall
We need to start a running back. Hall is the best rookie RB in 2022 and history favors him: in 9 of the past 10 seasons a rookie running back was a top-12 in the position.
5 Michael Pittman
He had over 25% of the Colts’ targets with Carson Wentz and now he’s playing with a QB who actually likes wide receivers: Matt Ryan.
6 Brandin Cooks
Every year he delivers. Cooks as flex is a luxury.
7 Darnell Mooney
Another solid flex, Mooney is the primary target in Chicago, who didn’t do much to help Justin Fields, making this guy deal with low competition again.
8 Tom Brady
Stacking Mike Evans with the GOAT? All day.
9 Melvin Gordon
Javonte Williams could not become a workhorse because of Gordon, who showed nice traits last year, got another deal in Denver and is ready to battle for touches with the sophomore.
10 Christian Kirk
He’s the favorite to lead the Jaguars’ receiving corps in what could be Trevor Lawrence’s breakout year.
11 Dameon Pierce
Like Breece Hall, Pierce also has history to back him up: in the past 10 seasons, in 9 of them two or more rookie running backs were among the top-24. Running back is a position for young men.
12 Jahan Dotson
Who’s after Terry McLaurin in the Commanders’ passing game? Logan Thomas could be this guy, but I’m not sure if he’ll be back at full speed. Dotson was the #16 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, which is a huge investment.
13 Tyler Allgeier
The Atlanta Falcons leaned on Cordarrelle Patterson and Mike Davis in 2021, but they need younger legs to have a good running game to help Marcus Mariota (or Desmond Ridder).
14 Jalen Tolbert
With Michael Gallup recovering from injury, Tolbert could have a good rookie year and get us some flashes.
15 Evan Engram
Remember what I told you about Trevor Lawrence a while back? Add Doug Pederson (who loves tight ends and showed that in Philly) to the equation and Evan Engram could have a solid season in Jacksonville.
